Today I had the chance to take a look at the work Mr. Eichman's Advanced Building class is doing with the construction of a storage shed behind the Park Falls school building. This is a great example of practical class work providing a genuine benefit to the school district as well as the students. It is also saving the district and taxpayers money. In recent years we have been using a used truck trailer for storage and with new equipment coming to the district thanks to the federal PEP Grant, the need for additional storage became critical. The building of the storage building is being done as a project by the Advanced Building class and as you can see from the photos, the building is quickly taking shape. Due to safety concerns the roof trusses will be put in place by a contractor. Otherwise all labor for the project is being provided by our students. Thank you Mr. Eichman and students for this great addition to the school district!
