Thanks to the efforts of School Board Member Dick Ross the school district received a grant this year for the purpose of developing a school garden. The garden, located at the west end of the Park Falls campus is taking shape utilizing raised beds for the plantings. The creation of the garden also provides an opportunity for learning healthy lifetime fitness practices consistent with the goals of the federal PEP Grant received by the District through the efforts of Jane Gustafson and our physical education teaching staff. In the photograph at left Mr. Ross is instructing the students in identifying desired plants as opposed to weeds. Thank you Mr. Ross and Mrs. Gustafson for your efforts on behalf of our students!
