• School Closings/Delays:

    On Friday, March 13, 2020, Governor Tony Evers directed Department of Health Services Secretary Andrea Palm to issue a statewide closure of all public and private schools for pupil instruction and extracurricular activities as part of the state’s efforts to respond to and contain the spread of COVID-19 in Wisconsin. The mandated closure of schools began on Wednesday, March 18 until further notice. Updates will be communicated as they're available.

Park Falls Elementary Exceeds Expectations on State School Report Card for 2018-19!


Wisconsin School Report Card for 2018-2019 school year was released today, November 12, 2019.  Park Falls Elementary School scored a 75.9, ranking in the “Exceeds Expectations” category. The School Report Cards include data on multiple indicators for multiple years across four Priority Areas: Student Achievement, Growth, Closing Gaps, and On-track for Post-Secondary Success.  Students’ achievement and growth in English Language Arts and Mathematics are measured by the Wisconsin Forward Exam. The four Priority Areas are weighted differently from school to school based on school enrollment and demographic information.


An area to note on the Park Falls Elementary School report is the School Growth area or how rapidly students are gaining knowledge and skills from year to year was above the state average in both English Language Arts (ELA) and Mathematics.  Our ELA growth was 35.9 points compared to 33.0 points for the state and Math Growth was 42.5 points compared to 33.0 points for the state.
