This is my third year as the Title 1 teacher at the Glidden Campus for the Chequamegon School District. I also teach a 7th-grade writing/reading class this year so I am excited to see all the 7th graders.

I grew up in Glidden and graduated from Glidden High School in 1986.  I earned my bachelor's degree in elementary education with a minor in mathematics at the University of Wisconsin- Stevens Point in 1991.  After teaching middle school math in Arcadia, WI for 25 years, I made the trip back here for my love of Northern Wisconsin and to be closer to my family.  I am presently working on getting my Reading 316 license through UW- Stout.

I have 3 grown children: Leah 23, Tyler 21, and Nick 18. Leah graduated from the UW Green Bay in 2018 with a degree in psychology and human development. She is working on getting her masters.  Tyler is a senior at UW Eau Claire pursuing a degree in accounting and Nick is a freshman at UW Eau Claire with a  major in personal finance   I am engaged to be married in June of 2020 to a wonderful man who has 2 children ages 8 and 15.  I am excited to start this new chapter in my life.
