Welcome to the Chequamegon School District website.
It is my privilege to serve as district administrator for the 2021-2022 school year. In our district, we fully commit to our vision to Educate, Inspire, and Empower Lifelong Learners.
The District has much to celebrate, such as a low teacher-to-student ratio, a wide variety of classes taught both on campus and virtually, innovative and cutting-edge reading and math curriculums and opportunities in the arts and athletics as well as a charter school (Class ACT) for high school students that uses a unique project-based learning approach.
Between the communities of Park Falls (pre-K through grade 5 and grades 9-12) and Glidden (pre-K through 3 and grades 6-8), the District maintains modern facilities with state-of-the-art technology, making Chequamegon School District equipped to provide all students a high-quality education.
Our children and staff form very close relationships, which ensures that Chequamegon students receive the individual attention necessary to ensure their success. Our commitment to Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) provides teachers the time and collaboration necessary to deliver a guaranteed and viable curriculum through data-driven intervention. This makes it possible for our students to learn at the highest level.
As we come out of a successful year battling the COVID-19 pandemic, we will continue to address the goals and focus areas outlined in our strategic plan. District leaders and the Board of Education are committed to reviewing, reflecting, and using data to make further progress on this initiative.
Thank you for visiting our website, and I hope you find the information on it helpful as you learn about Chequamegon. If you wish to know more about our district, any of our six schools, and the programs and curriculum we offer, I encourage you to reach out to any of our building administrators.
