Teaching Staff Openings

All candidates seeking to make an application for a teaching position in Chequamegon School District and who wish to be considered for an interview must have submitted all of the documents/information listed below. Incomplete applications will not be considered for interviews.  Please submit these required documents by uploading the information through the WECAN system:

  • Cover letter
  • Completed WECAN application
  • Three letters of reference
  • Transcripts (all college undergraduate and beyond)
  • WI (and/or other states) licenses/certificates

​Support Staff Openings
If applying for a support staff position, please submit a completed application form for each specific position.  Applications for support staff remain on file in our office for six months.  You may download application forms in .pdf format for each position.  Users must have Acrobat Reader installed and configured on your web browser to view .pdf files. The software is available free at Adobe's web site.

Substitute Positions: Teacher, Paraeducator, Bus driver, Maintenence, and Food Service Application Material: 

Substitute Teacher: (To be a substitute teacher you need an associates degree or higher and complete training designed for you.)

  • Substitute teaching is flexible work - schedule only the days you want using a computer or app on your phone
  • Substitute teaching is rewarding - get to know kids in our community
  • Substitute teaching is helpful - when our district teachers are sick or need a professional leave day, substitutes keep the kids learning on track

SUBSTITUTE TEACHER TRAINING

This training opportunity is for those who have an Associate's degree or higher and would like to be eligible for a 3-year Substitute Teacher License. This training will be paid for by the District.

  • The 2-day online webinar training sessions are via Zoom on will be held on:
  • Sept. 3 & 4, 2019 with a registration deadline of Aug. 29.
  • Nov. 26 & 27, 2019, with a registration deadline of Nov. 21.
