Chequamegon High School Exceeds Expectations!

Chequamegon High School Exceeds Expectations!

The Wisconsin School Report Card for state testing from the 2018-2019 school year has been released today, November 12, 2019.  The Chequamegon High School scored a 79.6 ranking which is in the Exceeds Expectations category. Our score is the highest score in the Cooperative Education Agency 12 (CESA 12) which covers 17 school districts in North and Northwestern Wisconsin! The Class Act Charter School received a “Satisfactory Progress” score which is the highest allowed for schools of that size.

The CHS scored above the state average in math and English Language Arts(ELA) in achievement and ELA growth and tied the state's growth scores in math. The school's growth was significant and weighted the highest of the factors in the score.

This is the third year of improved performance and is the result of significant efforts by staff to improve their curriculum and teaching methods used with the students. Additionally, the students are responding well to the increased expectations with reading and writing.
